When travelling along with young children in the car or babies you will need to think carefully about accessories that you may or will need.
The latest guild lines are that children under the age of 3 are the safest travelling in a rear-facing car seat. Using these seats can make it impossible for you to see your child and many parents or carers worry about this. You may want to check if they are asleep or even just check that they are ok on a journey and without a separate mirror this is virtually impossible.
There are mirrors available on the market that allow you to position them in such a way that you can see your child. These mirrors can either be stuck on to the inside of the window or around a headrest and then aligned with your rearview mirror.
Do research and read reviews before buying one as some of the suction mirrors simply do not stay stuck into position and may actually fall off on to your child. Prices vary from a few pounds up to about £10 depending on what style you want and there is some great child-friendly designs available meaning that once your child is old enough to front face they can play with it.
